  4. Thanks everyone . I cannot understand all of a sudden these cravings...They are intense ...and weird because I am not into nor ever have been into sweets . I think I am going to try and do this the same way as quitting smoking . Drink , delay distract , discuss , and the ? My metabolism is like a snail .... I may have to medically check on this . Thanks . They say excersise should speed your metabolism , but man I walk every day and go to the gym and not lost a pound . Don't worry quitters .. I think its just something with me ... keep quitting ....its so worth it . Almost everyone loses the weight or keeps a healthier weight after .

  7. Does anyone have any tips for sugar cravings. I am a very health conscious person , but lately I am having intense sweet cravings . Does anyone know how to curb a sweet tooth . For folks with arthritis .Did you know that sugar will trigger arthritic flares ? I am suffering at the moment w pain / alleviated with celebrex .. Pizza is also a no no for arthritis .. I react every single time Quit weight is still not gone . Has anyone else had problems with metabolism sinse they quit. Finding this very frustrating ...... I am finding smoking may have masked so many things that should may have been looked after . Glad I quit sooner than later .

  10. Quitting versus smoking . What I learned from my journey : Surrendering to the QUIT was much better than fighting it. Its a sign of strength not weakness and is sure to bring a sense of relief , not suffering . Surrender if smoking is tempting you today and KYQ. Thoughts?

  22. Congratulations. It appears you have worked through many things and are to be honored today . Congratulations . Perhaps now you are done with smoking perhaps a talent you have , needs some particular paying attention to. Perhaps its time to let that grow as well . Now you have quit there is nothing you can't do . Its one day at a time . I'll be excited to learn what hidden talent , or what hidden goals you have inspiration to achieve now . Go get em .
