  1. She has got a good quit buddy Well done Mrs sausage, one step at a time x
  2. Fear is one of our worse enemies I feel and I think as some get older fear is worse as it creates whole scenarios of why not to do something When we were kids we were mostly fearless, nervous at Times yes but pretty fearless, we would give things a try Ride a bicycle until the stabilizers came off and we would be freewheeling downhill Learn to drive until the learner L plates came off Climb a tree one branch at at a time and eventually reach the top The thing is when younger fear was not really an issue or could even have been a motivator? I think regardless we took steps then until we mastered skills and look what fun we had riding bikes, driving those cars and climbing those trees Sure I got a few bumps and bruises but the reward at the end was all worth it Taking a chance to see what's on the other side of that fear that's how I quit smoking realizing fear was what held me back for so many years was half the battle, the rest as they say is history, education, support and determination was the other half of the battle One that anyone could win!

  11. Used to be a tomboy as a child Very troublesome rebellious teenager Have carried some of those traits into adulthood Love adventure, dogs, horses, travelling to new places, petrol head this year I tried to do donoughts in a golf cart! The only sports I like to watch are tennis and rugby, I hate soccer but could get into American football once I understand the rules Like red wine, Jack daniels and Malibu and coke that's cola to the US Don't take life too serious, do crazy goofy spontaneous stuff, a life threatening illness when I was 29 made me look at life differently, take chances, have fun and if unhappy move along .... I cannot have children hence my love for animals to nurture but I raised my niece from 14 the proudest and hardest thing I ever did Am in a relationship with Rez from the forum otherwise known as the egg stealer I do have a serious side if it's something I am passionate about, I do not like bullies, I hate animal cruelty and child molesters and politicians I am a hard nut to crack but once inside I'm just mush, I cry at films, commercials and sad news on tv I do not like to be cornered, rushed or trapped Can be stubborn as a mule I cannot walk past a homeless person without giving money I am a sensitive, which means I can pick up on people's moods, read between the lines etc but I absorb these feelings which can be exhausting I believe in God and the angels however I do not believe everything in the bible I'm an ex sergeant in the British Royal Air Force I'M now a care giver, I have learned more about life through them both My next job will definitely be working with dogs

  20. Nat I am going to be blunt, everyone has given you the hugs and sentiment you need I feel awful that you have become a victim to some toe rags, it's a cruel world and some right horrors of excuses for human beings are out there. The thing here Nat is you have to stand up and hold your head up high or you will continue to be their victim and what happened to you will start to influence in other areas of your life Please talk to a victim support group Please release any guilt or shame Please take positive steps to find your confidence again, getting back to quit smoking is a very good step to taking back control Get tough now Nat One of my sayings "don't let the bastards get out down" I am so angry for you Nat, for the whole incident and your situation, now come on hun let's get you back up again! Love and hugs xx

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
