  1. that is a el of va sandwich translation "hell of a sandwich" meat sandwich meat and salad sandwich chip(fries) sandwich meat, cheese and salad sandwich but all together its a el of va sandwich meaning a whoppa! would need to dislocate jaw to eat it lol
  2. although you may feel groggy, you are so doing better than you think, we are on the outside looking in and we see it :) when i first quit i was a live in carer so could not go outside when i needed to so i used to go on youtube to listen to hypnosis videos just for relaxing and fitness videos so i could jump like a loon indoors for a quick pick me up they have stuff for all tastes and styles. i drank lots of water and green tea to help flush out the toxins which make you feel groggy on their way out but afterwards its a fresh new you :) weird how we have to feel crap before we feel better but it is the body healing itself, which is a marvelous thing. yes joel hits all the nails on the head and makes things simple, glad you are watching them the more education the more armour you have x

    Next vacation?

Lisbon is typical city has its cultural parts and its dives not much to write home about to be honest, its also expensive, food is fab though! and im not a city person so am biased lol I have been on a safari to east Africa it was a 2 centre holiday 1 week safari and 1 week in Mombasa I loved the safari, felt safe and hotels and lodges were great, full days as early mornings and late night drives I fully recommend if you do a safari to have it as a package before you go as you will know your full itinerary and all accommodation and guides are approved, you can book safaris when out there which are cheaper but you get what you pay for and places like that its better to be safe then sorry! expect a minibus fest when one of the big 5 is seen, they all get on their radios and before you know it there are 30 buses to 1 lion but saying that it was the most awesome experience that i would do again but in south africa but in this current political and disease climate i would not be going there the mombasa bit was horrid, hotel had armed guards to keep beggars and thieves out and it was a run for the gauntlet to get to the sea as you would get plagued by locals selling and they can be quite aggressive in their approach, never felt safe there! Northern Spain would get my vote, culture, beauty, cities it has it all I would recommend visiting Tripadvisor to check on any holiday or accommodation and only book if 3 or more green stars we are off in 3 weeks time to arizona and grand canyon for a weeks respite from ohio winter :) please dont let what i say put you off any, its only my experience and opinion and food for thought x happy and safe travels mel wherever you decide to go x
  4. do you like herbal teas? can you go for a walk in the fresh air, not sure if anyone has mentioned about caffeine when first quit but it absorbs twice as strong and quick just something to keep an eye on especially if sleep patterns are messing you about. oneis2 you are doing fantastic just look back and see how far you have come, the first 2 weeks are the hugest steps keep going through the fog x

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
