  17. I am glad you came back Laura, never ever be embarrassed, we all need support, thats why we are here But others are right you really have to mentally take smoking off the table regardless of what the circumstances to keep a sticky quit Education and support will help you with that, so you absolutely did the right thing by coming back x
  18. Hi Mike Yes there are so many conflicting writings on this matter it's confusing to say the least, but to me it seems more believable to be 3 weeks to be totally out rather than 3 days, although peak withdraw after 3 days sounds sensible, but I am no doctor or scientist and cannot put up a reasonable argument for or against which is right, I just go by what I feel is right that's all I have really.
  19. Day 14 done yesterday, it was easier with the dog trying to lick my face, then my mum laughing and calling me a silly girl :)
  20. Boom 5 months awesome job Rowland :) congratulations, keeping on running :)
  21. Don't volunteer to be a duck Doreen, here is your chance to pop bakon in the ... with an arrow :)
  22. Quackers the lot of ya lol :)
  23. Nicotine withdraw takes 3 weeks to leave the body completely when completely stopping using it, you are coming to the end of this time, how long it stays in the brain after that I think is still unknown completely... Personally going to the doctor would be the most wise as dosage or brand maybe needing changing for your antidepressants Good luck and hope you feel better soon x

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
