  2. nobody is a harder judge then ourselves tiff - you certainly can use your experience as a tool for yourself - but also remember to praise yourself too - you were brave and got back on the horse - credit where credit is due xx
  3. hey marti - did you know if you put the hand of someone sleeping in a bowl of water by the morning they would have wet the bed?? just a factoid I found out in my travels ;) ps sleep on sofa if experimenting Marti - no matter what - stay focused on you hun and your quit all around can go to the dogs but stay focused call in all you know and need AA Michael comes to mind here - centre and ground hun xxxxxx

Sometimes life can be so darn serious around us and especially if we are quitting smoking I was taught that humour is the best medicine, now i take things serious aswell dont get me wrong but when the poop really hits the fan I like to fall back on humour now we are all different and it would be great to learn what makes you laugh mine is slap stick humour I guess say for instance if an old lady passes gas in church - I would be rolling on the floor in tears and the more i tried to contain myself the worse i would be and the poor lady who wanted to go unnoticed would see me screaming running out of the door(of course afterwards I would be full of remorse as soon that could be me) :P or some people make comments on here where i just scream out in laughter some really do crack me up it always makes me feel better so what makes you truly laugh? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
  6. hi Tiff how are you - well done for yesterday - when times are low they are very low all we can do hun is weather the storm - you did great even if you feel like crap - this is ok to feel like this although not good you can do this Tiff your time is now xxx

I am a live in carer for a guy of 27 who has cerebral palsy i work 7 days on 7 days off action i am back off holiday today mini break is usually 2 to 3 days - holiday is anything more than 3 days prefer pedis as my feet are bad from abuse from boots for so many years fav perfume is beautiful from estee lauder or premiere by gucci hugh is popular yes but a few years ago now no have not seen the bird lmao yes i have punched a guy in the face - once when my sisters boyfriend thought it was a good idea to smack my 4 year old niece in front of me (I knocked him out) and once when a guy thought he would try and punch me ;)

I can honestly say that I thought I would relapse (fear) I THOUGHT THAT THERE WOULD BE SOME EXCUSE THATS GOING TO TRIP ME UP booze, stress, travel, something!!! - I was sure of it! but no there was nothing - although it tried my biggest crave was driving through London, getting lost and going round and round, tired and stressed I would have smoked at least 5 before what did I learn - a crave is a crave and it will happen wether expected or not a trigger will be there unless you change your whole life style - which is highly unlikely you as a person will be amazed at what you can do if you put your mind to it want to smoke and you will want not to smoke and you will not this I truly believe now as I have experienced it for myself For those newly quit or thinking about quitting - I do not BS I will always speak from experience you can do this I can do this we can do this Now lets get busy quitting

  15. did it take a whole year to face all the triggers and then each year it was like groundhog day as i have it in my head that i have to do a full year before i can say i faced all triggers if that makes sense x
