  1. got my second wind - I knew 6 months would be difficult as that was the length of my last quit so it was all in my head I had set that target and that was a mistake I will not do again! mental game me V me lets do this!!

  4. good morning Sin welcome to the train :) you have been given a warning from your doctors, some people do not get that chance to prevent something this is your chance to keep your health and your life I posted this the other day http://www.quittrain.com/topic/1467-who-would-you-leave-behind/ who will you leave behind? sorry to be blunt but this is serious stuff we will support you in any way we can great people here from all walks of life keep reading and posting and learning - this will be your greatest tool quitting is mostly mental - get your head in the right place and the rest will follow stick to this forum as much as you can, even if you read something you do not like, its all to help you and eventually it will and you will understand just absorb as much as you can until we find your quit please do not be afraid - the thought of quitting is much worse than the doing I tried all sorts of NRT to help but cold turkey has been the best for me you can do it Sin - just jump - we will catch you

  13. 6 months quit out of the woods yet? - no drinking plus emotional situations still try and trip me up! can I get through it? hell yes - will not relapse! keeping my guard up - humour helps me, quit buddies help me, determination helps me still working it, still learning! keep on your guard until you do not have to everyone is different but this is my journey we can all do it - keep our quits no matter what, whatever it takes one day its going to be easy peasy all the time :)

  23. hi amy thats great you checking in I wish you wasnt smoking I wish you would grab the bull by the horns and get angry with smoking and kick the poop out of it but I could scream at you until I was blue in the face to no avail unless you want to quit - thats the bottom line please just do yourself a favour stay around keep reading pm me if you want to, keep posting I know you got it in you to quit and when you realize you do - you will keep lurking Amy and I wish you well :) xx
