hi rowly - i can relate to angry angry at ourselves, at addictions at the fact smoking makes us ill the fact that we know deep down that we have to quit - and on top of all that life makes us angry for whatever reasons and boom now you have identified it - you can move forward a step at a time have you seen the curse it thread?? where you can let rip and not be polite - because we need to vent and to say "oh darn that just sucks" - sometimes just do not cut it!! you know that annoying little monkey on your back - thats me - hi I am Tracey and I am an nicotine addict pleased to meet you :) lets do this......

2 weeks ago and cost me a packet - but worth it however still not worn them due to weather conditions :( when was the last time you took your shoes off and walked on wet grass?

Woke up this morning feeling different cannot explain it just different - relaxed almost bonnies thread about her 13 cigarettes made me think about my 3 I have been hanging onto I kept them to keep up my fight as I had something physical to fight I have realised the fight is in my head I drowned them today and binned them - no emotion to it at all No longer feel scared or need to fight - I think thats why I feel relaxed it`s like an end of a battle It feels weird but in a good way :)

Thank you Bonnie this thread and writing about my 3 has made me bring forward my get rid of them ceremony I thought when the day comes I was going to have a big bonfire and farewell/good bye ceremony the truth was it was uneventful - I woke up this morning soaked them in water and chucked them in the bin no emotion - no nothing moving on - another corner turned :)
