    The Last Game

I broke my neighbor's window playing baseball with the boy. When was the last time that you laughed so hard that you cried?
  4. CRAZY!!!! Man was I stupid! And I said I as to not hurt anyone's feelings. But I wanted to say we. Keep on keepin on.
  5. You know...it is kinda funny (Well not really funny)... but I have not seen any extra money. I used to keep it aside and i said that I was going to take a cruise again. But I ended up spending it on an emergency. Since then I have decided to not save it because it was reminding me everyday that I was a smoker previously. I like putting that part of me behind me... I won. Want to know what is better then cigarettes..... MY LIFE!!!
  6. Making sure that I am being the best parent possible. Don't get me wrong... I have been known to make some bad "dad" descisions... but my focus is there. I obsess about his grades...I obsess about his friends... I obsess about his sports... yes I am "that dad". Sometimes I am over the top... but his mom sucks at life in general so I have to make up for her. Keep on keepin on.
  7. Life is good!
  8. AWESOME job!!!
  9. GET BUSY!!! Get you mind off of it... go for a walk. Clean something... Do something to get your mind on something else. mind over matter all day!!!! keep on keepin on.
  10. 1. I wanted to quit because I love my kids and I want to live to see them be as old as I could 2. I used to have some wicked stomach issues. I could not eat anywhere where I did not have access to a bathroom (Just in case). I could not eat at the fair... I could not eat on a road trip... I could not eat before I drove home... for instance at a restaurant, we could not leave right away for fear that I would be caught between point 1 and 2 with searing stomach pain. I literally have stopped the car before and gotten out and ran into the woods. This is real stuff folks. So get to point ...I know.... I did not contribute any of my stomach issues with smoking... but guess what??? I no longer live in fear. I can eat whereever...whenever I want. I am going to try to get of acid reflux medicine as well... trust me...this was a wonderfully beatiful AMAZING benefit to my quit. And best yet...I had no idea. Keep on keepin on.
  11. Rockin' that quit... Like a Boss!!!

  14. You need to be empowered... you are far far from empowered. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and start living. All you need to do is not smoke a ciggie. it is not rocket science. Maybe you should read more and get educated. Start over... and only move forwards cause going backwards sucks.
  15. Sunshine is good for the soul.
  16. You need to get your mind right and stop torturing yourself. It is hard to watch. Get strong .....read... and get busy. Get busy doing other stuff... get busy living a life without smoking. Retrain your brain. Get your mind right!!! Life is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better on the other side. The payoff is worth it. keep on keepin on... no looking back!!!
  17. My kids... they are so inocent that sometimes they do something soooooo funny and they don't even know it. Love it.

  19. Once you stop taking the easy way out and smoking, and actually fight for it HARD, that makes you stronger to succeed. 20. 100 days is AWESOME. I hope that you are very proud of yourself. You are a strong woman and have conquered alot... you deserve good stuff.
  21. Keep strong and push through it. Keep you eye on the prize. i swear to you ...the gratification that you are going to get from quitting is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo worth it. it is Amazing. And the new confidence that you will have will help with other stuff as well. Like other say...this is only temporary. GET BUSY... try to get your mind on something else... this will pass. Keeep on keepin on.
  22. How do you feel about your failure? Use that for motivation. Get up...dust yourself off and quit jacking around... besides...this is your life we are talking about. Quitting smoking is momentarily uncomfortable... get strong and get through it....it will not kill you.. but cigs will.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
