As much as Drs make you think your life is over if you have a heart attack well I guess thats not true. I had one 5 yrs ago today, still working on some health issues but at least I'm smoke free which I sure wasn't back then, trust me because I was having trouble smoking was one of the reasons why I went to the ER. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Well besides breathing without inhalers pretty much, and being able to sing better theirs smelling stuff. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Sure quitting when YOU Don't want too will just lead to you having to fight an inner struggle for months or longer. Fives yrs ago this month I had a heart attack & all the damn drs did was harp you have to quit or else-nice huh. I too like most here thought smoking helped us to deal with life when in realty its a smoke screen to hide your real life. PLEASE get back on the quit train & change your mindset about "loving" smoking.

Loved all these post, my mom knew none of us kids liked Pea soup so one halloween she made it-so needless to say we had to eat it or no trick or treating. I can't believe how rude & damn lazy kids are these days either. But it is fun to tell them you had only 3 tv channels, when cable first came out the local system had 10 channels at first.

Some people will never wake up-health scare or not. All you can do is show how much better your life is cause you sent "your friend" packing. :rolleyes:

No smoking for me this Good Friday or any other day.

Basically I do-sure I have to work a few hrs on fri but after that I'm free as a springtime bird. Those green peeps made me laugh.

For sure the idea of quitting is scary, BUT once you're free you will kick yourself in the butt for not doing so sooner. Try it & see for yourself.

A roastbeef wrap & some homemade macoroni salad-they are nice here at work when they have a food event someone makes me a plate for my lunch-cool huh??? :)

Yeah that "forever" thing stops alot of people & even tho with more quit time try to tell those early quitters that in time forever isn't an issue they are afraid to believe. :rolleyes:

No I live like 30 miles from an Amish settlement, when I had a car I use to go there for bake goods etc. As to the rollyeye click on that smiley face thing & you'll find it there. :rolleyes:

What is nice is that in a way this new site reminds me of the Q board like it was 5 yrs ago, and not the nasty place it turned into in 2 short yrs. Its sad how they cleaned house-but I see it as they only shot themselves in the foot. Not my concern anymore. Its nice posting & not worrying will this piss someone off & get me booted or if someone will twist it to use at a later date. :rolleyes:

For sure, for me it seemed like smokes was "my only friend" after all no matter what it was always with me convincing me that quitting sucks no matter whats the reason for doing so. That I didn't care if I died early as long as i could smoke etc. Then near the end of my first yr of freedom I realized what a load of "shit" ole nicodemon convinced me to believe & now heading towards 2 1/2 yrs free & the pluses keep happening I no longer RESENT QUITTING. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: Its sad the POWER that 3 " of burning paper had on us. :(

They might maybe by the 4th of july cause by then people are "jonesing" for the show, hopefully they won't make us wait till labor day wkend or the wkend before season 5 starts. I can't wait for my son to buy me the lastest walking dead poster at wallyworld its Daryl with a gun maybe? pretty soon my walls will be totally covered with Walking Dead & 24 stuff.

You might get lucky & during the summer they might have a marathon. At least the dvds aren't too expensive.
