  1. I think you might surprise yourself and feel just how grounded your quit truly is. NOPE!

  7. "I Am The Only Smoker I Know" Some people find themselves in the unenviable position of being the only smoker in their family, social or professional circles. This often leaves them feeling isolated when smoking and thinking they are not understood when they are quitting. The fact that some people find themselves as the only smoker illustrates an important point though--a whole lot of people in the world who used to smoke have quit and have successfully stayed off of smoking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXb9FJ7o0jI Related videos: Quitting is more doable than most people think Quitting can be a very lonely experience No one understands Closet smokers Getting on with your life after you quit smoking Related article: How did we survive back then? http://ffn.yuku.com/topic/11772

  10. Breaking Bad?
  11. By the way, I've watched the entire series of Breaking Bad twice and now I flip through the episodes instead of watching other crap on TV.
  12. It's all good. Every episode is awesome. It just keeps getting better. The spin off from Breaking Bad, "Better Call Saul" was very good. The first season ended last month.
  13. Thanks for stopping back in and congrats on 6 months! :)
  14. It most certainly does. :) Prolonging Nicotine Withdrawal Video explains how the 72 hour withdrawal symptoms that I discuss in many of my videos and articles is only applicable to true cold turkey quitters. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHx12A8-mFg&feature=youtu.be Related articles: Pharmacological aids Part II http://whyquit.com/joel/Joel_03_08_NR... 18. Great job, Michelle!! That's a great idea; set up an allotment from your pay to get put into it's own "quit account". I wish I would have thought of that when I quit. That is a great idea.
  19. NOPE!!!! Nothing and I mean nothing is going to come in between my quit and I. Nothing.
  20. Well, are you? Do you need to be? You might be surprised at what the correct answer is... http://www.quittrain.com/topic/2096-video-introduction-to-joel-misc-educational-videos-by-joel/?p=47188
  21. Great thread, Markus. 22. Sounds fun.
  23. Not smoking and all of the freedom and benefits quitting smoking brings about will last forever. The initial "newness" one feels when they first quit often relents and leaves quitters wondering where the benefits went but the non-action of no longer being a smoker is the lasting reward. Great thread! Glad to see you're finding your new normal; a normal that was meant for you and one that you certainly deserve and have earned. :)
  24. NOPE. Despite what may happen and where my thoughts go, I am 100% committed to never taking another puff. Not one single puff ever, no matter what! :)

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
