  1. Thanks everyone for the replies ... I work on Saturdays too , so i didn't have much time to sit behind my computer and reply to everyone ... I arrived home only an hour ago .. i have tomorrow off ... Yup Sunday is the only holiday for me ... Smoking cigarettes continuously was the worst thing i have done to myself ... and Quitting cigarettes was the best thing i have done for my health ... Thank you for a forum like this to talk about the difficulties of addiction and the difficulties of quitting and also thank you for all your support ... I don't think i am ever really going back to smoking ever I have lost interest in it completely Thanks

  5. Well, the craving is gone. It’s interesting that all it took was a little bit of distraction in the moment.

  20. This is your junkie mind trying to talk you into smoking. Smoking will not make Easter easier or better. Things will always come up and a lot of times things will be out of your hands and not on your terms. This can be a tempting excuse to give up and say you'll try again later. Things very well may come up again later. This is no reason to light up. There is no good reason to light up. You have over a month smoke free. These are the toughest times but things get better and you do not want to go back to having to do that first month again. Remember this quote (in my signature) from another successful quitter, "If you have just one you will be right back where you started, and where you started was desperately wishing you were where you are right now." Keep the quit. You can do this.

  21. Ross, Seriously, what the f**k are you thinking? We've been here before. Sort it out, and don't be an idiot. You really want to throw away this quit and let everybody down?! Plus, you can't break a promise to yourself.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
