  3. Memorial weekend eight years ago today I decided I wasn't going to buy anymore cigarettes and quit. I had a pretty rough first year and I googled a lot of my symptoms the first three weeks and each time I did it led me to my first forum. I couldn't believe all the people willing to give their time to help another person succeed. It was truly awe inspiring so I signed up. It was the best decision I could have made to win the battle with this addiction. Now I get to offer my support along with the many others. I've made great friends from all over the world and have had some great laughs along the way.

  7. Love the post and the perspective, L4L. I've had a really terrible couple of years, and I've insisted to myself to remain vigilant. Thankfully, I haven't experienced any urges, but I know that they're possible, especially in this vulnerable state. Christian99 22+ Years Quit

  26. That was the first album that I heard from them back in the day. I saw them when I was 17 in Madison Square Garden and they were amazing. I can still remember the song they opened with, Tie Your Mother Down. I know I'm dating myself, but it was an amazing show. And then in 2014, I saw as I call them 1/2 Queen, also in the Garden with Brian, Roger and Adam Lambert. They were really great, but of course, nobody can ever replace Freddie.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
