  2. Travelling as a non-smoker was a HUGE benefit of quitting. No longer have to push the wife outta my way as I run for the exit door in a blind panic when arriving after a 5 hour flight - lol.
  3. NOPIN In New Orleans... Traveling is so calm when you don't need to find a place to smoke at the airports. Poor suckers running for that smoke break outside the TSA then back through the check station.... Coolio. KTQ Cheer's Stew.
  4. Nope ..smoking is not an option, never again

  7. Glad to see you back @jacobrose! Read as much as you can here and watch the videos which are available. There's a series of YouTube videos called Tobacco Wars that I thought were pretty revealing about how the tobacco industry works against us to keep us addicted and buying more of there products. It opened my eyes as to what really goes on behind the scenes in the Tobacco Industry. There's 3 episodes each about an hour long - good time waster and informative. They might just help to support your commitment to quit. Here's a link to the first episode in case you're interested:
  8. Good luck! We’ve all had the experience of falling off the wagon. Dig in and get back on. You can do this.
  9. Sorry guys , I fell into the trap again and today I'm going to start the journey again. Wish me luck 🙏
  10. Chiming in to say after 7 years and change in my quit…I refer to those “urges” as “nostalgia”. For me, now in my 50s, I sometimes crave the lifestyle of being in my younger years. Those years included smoking. I hear certain songs…I remember not only cigarettes but cloves. Ack!!! Back then I was naive but smart enough to know better than to smoke but did it anyway. So, I was a closeted smoker. For years… so I thought. I fooled no one - other than myself. Nostalgia is OK. Making it present day reality is not. NOPE! L4L
  11. Those three videos worked for me What have you got to lose by watching them … Nothing…but could gain so much never give up … giving up Glad your back
