  3. And I didn’t have any side effects from the patch- wore it in the day and removed at night - only used for 2 weeks …

  4. 2 weeks today! Yay! I am having that "something"s missing" feeling. I remember this from my previous quit. I hate this feeling. It so indescribable and weird. Does anybody ever feel this way? Maybe it's grief. Uggh good grief !

  5. I know you can do it LOF! We all have. I'm only smoke free for a little over a month and I have survived...LOL!! The first week was bad, I will be honest, but most of the time I was not climbing the walls. I had a few meltdowns but then I would come on here and everyone would help me through it. You can do it!!! I know that first one in the morning was the most difficult. I would be having my coffee, sitting by my computer and then I would go and smoke. But I got through it and it's really not too bad now. The longer you go without a cigarette, the easier it will become. At first I would think of smoking every single minute of the day, now I don't think about it nearly as much, it keeps getting less and less. When I do get a craving they don't last more than a few seconds. If you need the lozenges when you get out of bed, use them. Whatever will help you!!

  6. Just to be clear ..... I was NOT involved in designing or minting the first Canadian coin to feature King Charles image, replacing our traditional Queen Elisabeth image

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
