  11. G’day A week after your original “positive” and no symptoms should see you safe from passing it on. The tests will still turn up viral fragments for quite a lot longer. Please be kind to yourself for a while yet. A general tiredness will continue so don’t push it. I’m still not back at work. COPD has complicated that. Signs are appearing in workplaces….. “please be kind to those of us that have been able to make it to work”.

  16. @Cbdave Yeah I found that out about the tests when my company nurse called me today and told me not to take anymore. Lol ... I don't have to start back to work till Monday now so I'm good. It was mainly me and work and my Doc getting on the same page about my return time.

  20. Me too. I need to pivot away from the craving to another thought or task or physical activity ASAP. If I dwell too much on the desire to smoke I end up in a hole that’s really hard to climb out of.

  21. @11better11it certainly was for me. but you have to counter that thought with another one like, "breathe deep, if I keep smoking I won't be able to do that." whenever you have a thought about smoking you have to counter it immediately.

  22. Well I do feel better, but I just retested myself and it's still positive. So I guess I'll take feeling better for now. I thought for sure I would test negative.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
