  1. Just thought I would check in here. It’s been a while. I’m just a few weeks shy of 1.5 years smoke free! Still super proud of myself. Still no cravings at all! I’ve gained some weight and that’s a total bummer, but it’s better than lung cancer. The anxiety I was struggling with has gotten to a more manageable level and I’ve been able to be more social (I had debilitating anxiety over covid). Still not good with loads of people not masking but baby steps all around. Either way I’m winning! Just wanted to give some encouragement to anyone just starting on their journey! You can do this! If I could quit, cold turkey, after almost 20 years of a pack a day, you totally can do this!

  5. I grew up about 1/4 mile from Budweiser brewing. I remember the smell of hops as a kid. Later in life, my teachers all said i'd be nothing but a construction worker & an alcoholic. F them..... lucky guess

  13. I usually check in yearly to see the amount of LIFE and money I have saved. Went to Quitnet and it was gone. I was sad. I did some surfing about, and I found you all. Today is 19 years!! WOW

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
