@MLMR I like your attitude in that you put the ticker back to day 1. I see some want to call something like that a "slip" or something and think they can carry on with the count. The moment you smoke another, the quit is over. If you start again, you start at 0. Otherwise, I think the subconscious will use that as just one more excuse to have just one because "you can just call it a slip, it won't hurt your quit so you can just pretend it didn't happen".3 points

Unfortunately its bound to happen this whole first year quit and truth be told from time to time after the first year. We need to remind ourselves that there's just no way you're going to go through every single situation over your smoking career that made you grab a smoke in just one years time. The difference with time under your belt is that they're much more easy to get past then when you were newly quit. And you know this too shall pass and you'll keep that awesome quit you have2 points

Sounds like you are in it for real, well done. Keep that attitude up, it will help you big time. I dont have cravings. I quit smoking three years ago and then messed up one weekend. Put my ticker back at day one and had to start all over. Hence the three month quit. The first week was tough, but I had the same approach as before, maybe even more ferocious: watching, reading, writing (did you see that enormous diary Introsucktion, its mine )about quitting. It was a close call. Never again.2 points

@MLMR Doing good thank you. End of today will mark 18 days free. I'm feeling comfortable enough I'm going to start watching the diet and bringing my wt back down to norm. I've gone up from 176 to 180, which is quite a bit for me since my wt does not fluctuate a lot. And 176 was already higher than the 170 max I feel my best at. So it's enter the diet phase now. I workout daily anyway, but joined the Daily Exercise log where I will be logging both exercise and diet until I get back down below 170. ETA is 2mths. I see you are closing in on 3 mths free. Hows the cravings going. Honestly.1 point

I wouldn't use the word on a treadmill unless it was raining or too cold or something ... and then I find myself clock-watching. Really, the love word comes from exploring the outdoors and nature - hikes, rides, runs. New routes are important - it gets hard running around the block. So I guess the love comes with conditions1 point
