Bill, Ben and Bob have been sharing an elk camp for 25 years. They all meet up during the summer and Bob breaks the news that his wife finally put her foot down and he will not be able to go elk hunting this year. After fielding countless insults and requests Bob says that there is nothing he can do. The day before the opener Bill and Ben head up to set camp and are shocked to see Bob is already there. The wall tent is up and a bonfire is already burning. They jump out with a confused look on their face. Bob says “ As the opener got closer I spent more and more time moping around the house. I guess she finally got the message. I was sitting in my chair watching tv last night and she sneaks up behind me and whispers in my ear to meet her in the bedroom in five minutes. When I go to make my way up the stairs I see there is a trail of rose petals leading up to the bedroom. I open the door and find the room filled with lit candles. There she was in a new get up from Victoria Secret with her wrists and ankles handcuffed to the bed posts. In her sexiest voice she said “Do anything you want”. So here I am!”3 points

There is something positive to say about soft, quit, peaceful, sounds like my first wife, but we would have to add Loving to that list. We were soul mates, both felt each other, I would have no issues of spending the rest of my life in her arms. So yes lets call it a grand soft day ! Thank you Kat3 points

If you planted hope today in a heart that felt alone if you caused a laugh that chased some tears away if someone's burden was made lighter because of your kindness then your day was well spent1 point

Now that I can read a Tape Measure I am back to Getting my Game room remolded, my Laundry room and tiled painted, and My pool plumbing upgraded. the extent that we depend on sight is what 90% of life, and I can say when its being taken away it effects you, big time. Listen to me rant on, sounding like a ex smoker preaching the evils of nicotine. But same as quitting and getting a new lease on life to have your sight restored is also a new lease on life. I wear my sun glasses, safety goggles, face shield eye drops. I am taking care of them and not taking my sight for granted. I have quit smoking ! I have had my heart fixed ! I have had my eyes fixed, Damn this year was full of trials and blessings, my life has basically restarted at 62 years old ! you know just because you don't get sick very often and your not over weight doesn't mean you shouldn't get a yearly physical and Blood work. I real easily could have not had to do any of this if I had just got the blood work every year and of course if I had never started smoking. But then again My father died from a massive heart attack at 75, he never smoked, drank or used salt, was over weight But road a bicycle 60 plus miles a day for 20 or so years ? Wow listen to me second guess the benefits of being proactive with your health, I know what it is I still don't trust the pharmaceuticals and for good reason, and just like the police, doctors, mechanics, teachers, priests ( clergy ), not all are Bad but enough of them are to stain the profession. Goodness I need to get back to my Positive state of Mind ! My life at this time is going pretty Damn good and I am ecstatic about where I am, how I am and where I am headed ! I have all you great people Walking with me thru this life full of support and caring. I really do have a blessed life !1 point

Its Like waking up after a night of rain, The sky is Bluer than blue and the clouds are puffy and bright white, it hurts to look up at the beauty of sight. Everything is crystal ! What a adventure, can you believe I was awake and watched them remove the Lens out of my eyes, No patches afterwards, No real Pain to speak of, and every day my Vision gets Better and Better. At my app yesterday I was reading the bottom line on the eye chart ! and my eyes are still getting better. 3 different eye drops for the next couple of months and it will all be done, I am so freaking excited and happy, shit Happy doesn't come near how I feel. If you have Cataracts get them removed give yourself a Blessing !1 point

Probably never. I'm pretty sure most long-time smokers and ex-smokers will agree that you'll probably never be ready to quit smoking, until something terrible happens to you or someone you love. If you are new to smoking (or vaping, chewing, whatever), or haven't yet smoked for 20 or 30 years, just go ahead and quit now. Don't wait until you are ready, as that may be too late. Be ready to invest in your future health NOW. It's your future health you will save if you stop smoking now. When you are older, and no longer burdened by the emotional heartache of "growing up", you will be more concerned about preserving your health. You will be so blessed, and so grateful to your younger self, for having stopped smoking before you got sick. You will never be ready to quit smoking, but you can always be ready to make an investment in yourself, and your future, and your future health. Your health is your greatest asset. Preserve it and you keep the gold. Invest in yourself by stopping smoking now. Your future self will thank you!1 point
