  1. G’day NOPE .....Not One Puff Ever.... (replace Ever with Min,Hour, Day as required)
  2. Happily toss in my 38,000!! In honor of those lost, and in hope those still addicted will someday choose freedom ❤️
  3. Thanks for the support so much!!! Sorry I have been away in a dark room for a few days with migraine. I still have my quit, I am in shock that I am doing this and that I have been able to keep going. K
  4. NOPE! Not today.
  5. See ya all . Keep the Nope . I've asked to be removed from the site for personal reasons but I will be keeping my quit no matter what. No one will take that from me .
  6. A re- pledge for today Wednesday cause I need to and a pledge for tomorrow because I'll get there smoke free . Now off for a nice long walk .
  7. @Kris, I think that’s a common response. I know, I have had the same feeling. I even think some of us believe we don’t deserve to succeed at quitting, as sad as that sounds. But we do deserve to quit and live a healthier lifestyle. I do, you do, and everyone here does. Keep up the good work. You’ve got this!
  8. Toorah, Loorah, Toorah, Loorah, Ay!
  9. Have to confess ...always have to dance to this ...well prance about !!!!
  10. Congratulations Gus, you are doing great!!!
  11. Thank you @Kris! The job is good! I’m not going to lie though. Some days when I walk out there a cigarette the size of my arm would be just the thing! LOL But I know that to be the lie that it is! That’s how the old me would have wanted to relax after a long stressful day at work. I am able to check up you all briefly a couple of times during the day and then in the evening when I get home. I’m never far away. I see that you are still keeping your quit and getting more familiar with how the site works. Just stay with us. We need each other. I’m not ashamed to say it. There was a time in the early stages of my quit when I didn’t need or want anything to do with anyone except for my QuitTrain friends and I thank God that they were all here!!!! Keep up the good fight and I’ll be thinking of you! 🤗
  12. Gus, Congratulations!!! I have been out of the loop, is your new job going well? It speaks so much about you, keeping your quit safe while starting a new job. I have no doubt you are forever quit! K
  13. I'm not typically the sensitive type. However, I was a bit offended when a friend of mine said: "Boo's the kind of guy that buys his clothes at the hardware store." That hit a little close to home. I did buy my favorite jacket at Ace Hardware. It keeps me warm on cold days. It keeps me dry on rainy days. It fits like a glove...What more could you want from a jacket? The catwalks of Milan and Paris will just have to wait.
  14. Now !!!!.....If you can just sort your fashion out too !!!!😁
  15. I'm admitting it...
  16. I've just got to sing along .😠
  17. NOPE! Not today.
  18. I throw on my 58,043 Cancer cigs I haven't smoked .... In Honour of my Dear Friend and all the good Folks who have lost their lives to this horrible addiction.... Burn !!!!!
  19. Do they use mop and glow? 😂
  20. G’day John I went the Champix way. Couple of days the cigs tasted like Shite. Stopped cause that’s what I was about and continued to take the tabs. Mate I keep taking those things don’t know what they did but didn’t care. I was stopped. Laughed when I heard your comment about the smoking bone being connecting to the drinking bone. Mate your going to be amazed. You get to face those really bad triggers and find out there not as bad as you think. First one to weaken and die for me was that first smoke of the day. Gone withered and proved to be weak and pathetic pretty fast. Any strong urge will be the first you’ll face and they find you will not respond they will lose strength and slither away, powerless. Im 63 gave walked away at 57.....don’t look back trust me chris
  21. This is great news, congratulations Kris. Don't forget to reward yourself.
  22. G’day 5 year 10 months I get 42,550 cigs unburnt. A google search tells me Ever cig is 1.2 gm of CO2. By not smoking those buggers I’ve saved the planet 51 ton of carbon emissions...... sorry Im leaving mine unlit wait a secound .... that’s near $50 grands worth! Not smoked were did that go! hope I didn’t drink it
  23. No throwing on fires right now, we have enough fires out here in the west. But I will use the number of not smoking 29,720 as inspiration to continue.
  24. I'll toss on a cool 32,760. It's so rare that I think about smoking anymore that that number completely blows my mind.
  25. I'll gladly chuck 60,950 coffin nails on the pyre.
  26. Here's my 28,135 for all who have suffered from the effects of smoking.....
  27. Thanks everyone!!! This one kind of slipped up on me! LOL Having a full time job sure is helping by keeping me extra busy! I’m so thankful for each and every one of you. You have all been a great help! I wouldn’t have done this without the quittrain!!! 🤗
