I'll toss on a cool 32,760. It's so rare that I think about smoking anymore that that number completely blows my mind.10 points

Found some new tools I've been here a while now . I'm so impressed with this site and all the tools available to help quit smoking , to engage in friendship and even excersise . Today for the first time I checked out the blogs . Thanks Jillar for posting those , it will be on my reading everyday . You can never have enough information on quitting and others testimony was a huge part of my quit . I was so grateful to those willing to share their experience because it helped mine . It really did help my quit to know especially what my elders went through , how they coped , and how they overcame . From blogs to discussions , the lounge to educational videos and links , rewards and friendships , this place is maaaavelous . No excuses here not to reach out or find something that's comfortable for us to engage in or just read . It's too good to be true . I'm sure this place has seen a lot of winners in its days , and will have many more to come . I love that is open world wide . Thanks to its creators and the thought put into it .7 points

Well my mini vacation is over! Got back home today. Had a great time, lots of time on the water. Boating, swimming, fishing. Company of great friends. But I do have to admit I missed smoking!!!! I didn't but I really did struggle, felt like I left a friend at home. I really didn't think I would. We did some drinking, I limited that because I knew that would be a trigger. I did not think I would have the issue I did, but hopefully it will get easier It would have been real easy to give In and smoke. Being around smokers was not easy. My friends don't smoke , but there were other people on the beach that did. Can't avoid that forever. All and all had a good time!!4 points

I too Kris smoked for 40 years and just now celebrating 3 months smoke free. For me I find simply thanking the creator every day for keeping me safe from cigarettes today a simple.... but powerful thing that helps keep me on the quit train. You should be proud through all this that you have kept your quit. I also have found that exercise has helped me to feel better emotionally and physically. I started literally walking 4 houses down and back and it grew from there. I truly hope you find some ways to treat yourself well (you deserve it) and that soon you find yourself in a more positive space.3 points

@Linda, I promise you it WILL get easier! I'm glad you had a great time and protected your quit. That's a huge milestone for you Can you imagine how embarrassed you would have been walking up to strangers and asking for a cigarette?! Especially with how much they cost these days?!3 points

Dear Katgirl I know the kids are fine, just like we always worry, just a Mom thing. Yes I am depressed and angry. Having a hard time with the quit but have not given up. Missing all the people that I have lost and having a pity party. I have seen the doctor, she says this is all normal considering all the changes. I am so happy for you and your big trip/adventure. You have the world by the tail. I hope to grab it too in the future. K2 points
