A bit of unsolicited advice that sometimes helped in my situation. Walking. Get out and stretch the legs. Get the blood pumping and focus on movement and breathing. Watch for traffic and immerse into the here and now. After fifteen minutes increase the pace. When you tire, slow it down a notch, and circle on back home. Take in the sights, and sounds. It's spring, things are greening, flowers blooming, traffic flowing, rain falling, and you're a part of it all. Your breathing is rhythmic and natural. You're alive and it's good to be living.4 points

Do yourself a favor Ray, go ahead and quit. I made the mistake of procrastinating before quitting. I called it "planning", but in reality is was me finding excuses to keep feeding my addiction. Looking back, the procrastination period was more of a pain in the ass than the actual quit. The quit was a challenge, but I was making progress everyday. During the procrastination period, I was just spinning my wheels and finding ways to get myself all wound up. I call it the Tom Petty rule: The waiting is the hardest part...3 points
