Happy to deny RJ Reynolds the $ from the 47,825 that I would have bought (assuming I was still around).6 points

And mine 15,800. Hope it's ok to count those that were thrown into previous bonfires - rising from the ashes of one bonfire to the next.6 points

Hey @Judi, I read one of your recent posts and you sounded like you were thinking you were not the YOU that you've always been since you quit smoking. This article helps to explain why we feel so empty after we've quit. Thought it might help you? It does talk time and patience to "rewrite your life" as a nonsmoker but it is doable for anyone. Some sooner than others. Not sure if that's related to how long you've smoked or just who we are as individuals but you will find your freedom & peace in being a nonsmoker if you stick with the process and don't smoke.2 points

Hey Judi stopping nicotine can be really depressing for some people and give you the brain fog, etc. After 34 years of nicotine addiction I found myself depressed for sure! Nicotine hijacks your inner happy and replaces it with nicotine-happy by inserting itself into your brain receptors which you would otherwise activate for natural dopamine production. It took me several months to get past the I-ain't-got-no-nicotine blues but it did eventually go away. In the meantime, do use any and all safe & effective means you have, such as exercise, comedy, or vitamins and herbs, to beat down that depression. Please consult your doctor if your symptoms are worrying you. Best of luck on your journey to better health!1 point

Ok....THIS IS IT! Moving truck came Saturday and all my stuff is gone on its way to NC. Got my payoff statement from my bank for the mtg, checks have already been cut for all parties involved in the transaction by the atty, garbage has been placed at the curb, final walkthrough w buyers is at 10 am tomorrow, Feb 9th!! My 4th year quit anniversary is on Wednesday, Feb 10th. When I think back to how far I have come and how my life has changed (for the better!!!) since then.....it is mind-boggling....I am one lucky lady! Anyhoo, I will be running all day tomorrow and then driving half-way down to NC after the closing w my BF and little Panda! Packing my pc into a box right after I sign-off here so I will be missing in action for a few days (my laptop and tablets went on the moving truck).....so Carry on and KTQ! Be back soon!1 point
