All, just thought I would check in, and today now is three weeks. I still have not even smelled any cigarette smoke since my last one. As all of you know and have experienced, some days are better than others....but all in all it is going ok. So, still hanging in there. Cheers!8 points

I dropped a pan of biscuits in the floor today and wound up lying on the kitchen floor crying like a baby. I react pretty much the same way when my husband leaves the lid off the butter dish. Seems to be getting harder for me each day. So please don’t feel alone. We’ll get‘er done one way or the other. Hang on.4 points

Thank you all SO much! You are the best bunch. Even if I don't post on here all the time, I do try to stop in and do a quick drive by post every couple days. This group is hands down the ONLY reason I was able to make it to one month. Great news too - the hubby, who did not quit, has stopped lighting up during the week (he does use chewing tobacco, but that's fine with me, I could never do that! LOL), and will smoke outside on the weekends, when drinking. So at least he's getting a little healthier and making it a little easier for me to NOPE. He said he was really impressed that I didn't smoke ANYTHING since 1/1, especially after smoking a full pack a day for over 40 years. I'm pretty impressed too Big hugs to you all on this train! Oh Opah, it pains me to see this post from you. I remember when I first quit, you were there right with me and to see you still struggling four years later is tough. You need to get it right, man! Get your head in the game! You know what to do, now DO IT! Not One Puff Ever!3 points

Thanks Jillar, you are right about that. I also seen the pulmonologist yesterday and that was kinda depressing. I told him he scared the shit out of me and his response was you should be,that's my job!!! You have got to quit smoking like I didn't already know that3 points

The best things in life don't come easy. So, you have to work hard or fight for what you want. You can do this Linda. Just have faith in yourself to always make the right decision for a healthier you.3 points

Damn, had it going so nice, hot water running, found some aloevera hand soap for the Bubbles. Got the softy music playing on my company phone and just as I was going to crawl into the Tub my boss walks in the first aid room looking for a band aid ? YIKES ! He got the full Mounty. Not the best Idea taking a bubble bath at work in the first aid room even if they do have a really nice tub.3 points

I had to Quit to because I was told by my Dr ,I was about to have my feet amputated..... Smoking effects every part of your body .... Just take it one day at a time ...one minute if you have too....we can promise you ... It really does get better ...one day you will get up ,and all you will want it to fight for your quit ... It becomes very precious ....that's after me smoking 52 years ....2 points

Try reminding yourself Linda that "this too shall pass". I said that over and over again in my early days. I also kept reminding myself that there was no way I wanted to have to go through those crappy days again! You've done it enough to know you don't either so use that as fuel to propel you forward2 points
