  15. Along @Cbdave's lines, I remember when @Nancy threw us the quittrain rope when qsmb was going down giving us a new home that welcomed us with open arms.

  19. There is no harm in wanting to smoke a cigarette. Addiction and wanting go hand-in-hand. There is all kinds of harm that comes from actually smoking a cigarette. Thankfully, you didn't do that. You observed the one incontrovertible rule for a successful quit: DON'T SMOKE! There is nothing to feel embarrassed about. You should feel proud of yourself.

  24. Yes Michelle, it would be! But you got this! Trust in yourself that you will get through it just like all the other times. And be very proud of yourself for knowing when to reach out for some extra support to keep your awesome quit

  25. G’day I remember when the QS board sank one morning without a trace...... I was just a piece of flotsam that washed up here. Appreciate being excepted into the “Adams” family of different folk welded together by the common addiction. One thing I have come to appreciate is not being threatened with being banned by saying something....well....inappropriate! There are people here that say worse things than me..... A happy Chris

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
