I can’t believe I’ve made it this far. It feels so good. I worked out 25/30 days this month too! I’ve finally started chipping away at the pounds I added during the beginning of my quit and quarantine. I can’t believe how much time I used to waste smoking every day! I am getting so much more done. I am, for the most part, loving it. I still have my moments that I miss it, but the benefits always seem to outweigh the idea of cheating. I NEVER want to have to do that again! Now I guess I get to figure out who I am as a non-smoker. Does that sound weird? I feel like I had all of these holes I filled with my smoking addiction. As always, am am grateful for this group. It has been really helpful reading the info and conversations on this site.8 points

Doesn't sound weird at all Amierouge. We all have to find ourselves and redefine ourselves after we quit. It will happen so just keep on doing what you've already learned to do and NOPE every day! That's the only rule we all must abide by - Not One Puff Ever! Everything else will take care of itself with time4 points

I got hooked on those darn things when I quit smoking. It was like another addiction. I can safely say that I am off them for good and shedding all the pounds I gained from them!4 points

Oh Lilley, I am so sorry you relapsed. I have a hard time understanding the quitters who relapse after a long period. I am so grateful that I quit, I never want to go back there. I do know that self esteem had a big play in my smoking. As you travel the journey of quitting, you have to build on that self esteem. Know that your life is so worth saving and you have to want to do it. Don't quit smoking thinking about the cigarette you won't get to smoke. Quit knowing that you are stronger than the next crave. You can do this.3 points

I think this is a little early so I'm going to have to assume that you'll stay quit for the next couple of days until you reach 1 month. lol I'm pretty sure you will...you seem to have the right attitude to beat this evil addiction. Congratulations on one month smoke free John!!!3 points
