Probably not a good time to mention this again, particularly if Sugar Britches is within earshot, but I was the biggest baby born in Bradley County, Tennessee in 1974. Insert the requisite apology to my mother here. Sugar Britches weighed in at 7 pounds 4 ounces at birth. She was in the normal range for a newborn, but I got a write-up in the local newspaper when I was born. So, I got than going for me. Not sure if there's even any correlation between the birth weight of the parents and that of a newborn, but...now you know!5 points

Are you beginning to feel like you're fused to your couch? Do you consider making it through an entire streaming Netflix series an actual accomplishment? You may not be able to go to the gym or participate in an exercise class, but there is another alternative. Hiking. There are so many benefits to a good hike. You can choose anything from easy to strenuous. Flat to steep. And not only are you getting physical exercise, you're also able to take a mental hiatus from the incessant pandemic news. There are several apps that help you choose a local trail. They'll even warn you if you start wandering off track. They'll tell you how far you've gone, your pace, and your elevation gain. Some of the more popular free ones are AllTrails, TrailLink, and Cairn. Get up, get out, and put those smoke-free lungs to good use.4 points

Thanks, @Paul723! I love days like today because they are now just another day...not complacent in any way, but I am definitely comfortable in my surroundings and in my quit. Snow cones for my reward, I got the black cherry frosty (ice cream in the middle)...I crammed my spoon thru the bottom... Still delicious! Turns out I'm highly allergic to my grass...(this is not a marijuana joke) but Bermuda grass so I can't enjoy our beautiful lawn. That's okay tho...I absolutely can not complain. I can tell you... I've been to the bottom of my barrel before; that place you're sure God forgot you, and I never thought I would see this day. These amazing days that taste like a fresh peach everyday because I can wake up and bite into them! I can wake up my spirit, shine her armor and let her dragon fly! Man, did quitting smoking really do all that?...I mean...it lifted the smoke...and once the smoke was clear...I just wasn't lost any more. I say it's just another day, but low-key I really f-ing love today3 points

12 pounds 4 ounces. I had a big body and a low center of gravity...I was like a baby sumo wrestler. Even after I was born, my mom wasn't 100% convinced she wasn't having twins. She wanted them to make sure there wasn't another one hiding in there.3 points

AK....have you thought of doing our daily NOPE every day ...it's a great tool ... It's a promise to yourself ,you won't smoke for the next 24 hours ..... What have you got to lose .. Nothing......but could gain everything .....maybe you need more help than coming here to just post a number .... You need to find a way past your danger zones .....3 points

You are making this so much harder that it really is, not only by repeatedly relapsing and torturing yourself with consistent withdrawals by smoking but, by your thinking that it takes inordinate courage and tenacity. Sure, it takes commitment and abiding by that commitment but these are not super powers. We all quit and we are not supermen/superwomen. We are addicts just like you.3 points
