It's been one week since I lit up or vaped or did any form of nicotine, which I think is a cause for celebration. I chose to stop smoking because I wanted to take back my life. I was tired of nicotine being the incentive for everything that I did. After a shower, I smoked. During movies, I vaped. While socializing, I smoked. I don't want to have to smoke in order to feel joy for these things. There's absolutely no way I'm going back to smoking. Wish me luck on the rest of my quit guys.10 points

This ^^^ Everything I did had to be in 15-20 minute pieces between smokes.6 points

Not having my life revolve around when I would get my next nicotine fix. It takes a while but you eventually gain peace with not having to continue feeding this addiction. I used to think that smoking calmed my nerves. I realize now that this is a lie. These are strange times we are going through right now with CoVid and I'm pretty sure that if I had not quit, I'd be chainsmoking while following the news to calm down and try to put things in perspective. I now realize that I would just be adding much more physical and mental stress during a time like this if I was still smoking. Even in bad times you realize that life is much better without cigarettes and nicotine in your life6 points
