@notsmokinjo you made me feel really special when I saw this thread. I can't tell you how much it meant to see you had still done me my proper one month post. Thank you everyone for your words of encouragement. I am back from being in a country where smokers are everywhere and I'm still smoke free. Going away was a big test for me as usually as soon as I'm away I light up!!!7 points

I don't get any of these fancy new shows on my TV......... Game of Thorns, The Silence (that's just what the wife gives me sometimes). Never saw those Henry Potter movies either. My rabbit ears don't bring in those fancy-pants shows. Here's my daily TV line-up on CHCH TV (closest local channel): 10:00 am - I Love Lucy 10:30 am - The Mary Tyler Moore Show 11:00 am - Sanford and Son 11:30 am - Laverne & Shirley 12:00 pm - Hogan's Heroes 12:30 pm - One Day at a Time 1:00 pm - The Jeffersons 1:30 pm - Barney Miller 2:00 pm - Mission: Impossible 3:00 pm - Fantasy Island Well, you get the idea! Probably why I don't watch much TV. (although Lenny & Squiggy make me laugh sometimes!)4 points

Congratulations @Kdad for being 7 months smoke free! Well done! Seven months is a really solid start and such a great foundation for your forever quit. Would love to hear how you celebrated!... There should definately have been a reward.3 points

Jo, for your sanity, you need to get a new job, I can't imagine this kind of back and forth to work is good for your health.3 points

I get upset when it takes me more than 20 minutes to get to and from work and this is in Phoenix Az. on the I-17. I never have had to deal with long commutes since I live here. That`s a bit of good fortune I guess.2 points

I did notice an old man today wearing shorts, black dress socks, and a pair of brown Crocs. I'm not going to laugh at his fashion sense. In fact, I admire the fact that he's reached that point in his life where he simply doesn't give a damn about fashion and trends. You do you random old guy.2 points
