  4. Greetings NOPErs.... today I put my hand into the bag of 25 September and there were 11 special days in there... 11... this is just getting ridiculous... so while we all love those cuddly little sex fiend stoners the Koala (no not a bear) and hope they don't become extinct, today is One Hit Wonder day... that's right those songs that shot to #1 and were the first and last thing we heard from the artists that charted. So as I celebrate another 24hours of freedom from nicotine I'll also celebrate all my favourite one hit wonders. NOPE .... Not One Puff Ever... not today, not tomorrow, not ever, forever. TOPIC of the Day: One Hit Wonders

  5. Well, had my evaluation for the cardio rehab program today....all went well! Dr Lai was very nice and we went over the whole process from where the monitors are stored, how to put the sensors on and where they go (I will be monitored and have my blood pressure checked continuously while exercising), the equipment that I will be using...treadmill, stair stepper, bicycle and rowing machines...along with weights. On Friday, will be going over how to actually use this equipment and giving it all a test run so he can see what kind of shape I am in and figure out my benchmarks. He also explained that I will be learning how to train my muscle groups to maximize oxygen use which will lessen any strain on the heart and increase my endurance! I am so looking forward to getting started in this program!! Hope to make some new friends along the way! ?

  6. Really has been a great day! Used to not be able to enjoy lunch with a friend this way....stressed figuring out how to end it so i could smoke. And even when she had to part early I didn't run off to smoke...I walked the square and bought some new tea at a little shop. Then back to work without hosing myself off with body spray and inhaling mints! I quit before but it was never this awesome!!

  13. Congratulations @Giveintowin for being smoke free for 11 months! Well done GITW, you are almost at that coveted first year mark. Despite the extra hurdle and stress put in your way over the past few months you have KTQ like a true champ. So celebrate your 11th month of freedom in style, give yourself a nice fancy reward for being such an awesome quitter. Oh and don't forget to pack your bags, that boat will be arriving at Circular Quay to set sail with you on the Lido Deck in 30 days time.

  25. My name is Jill(ar) and I am a Cookie Jam addict. It started innocently enough, SOMEONE who I won't name suggested it as a relaxing game to kill time. That was about 39 days ago. Since that time I've played everyday and am now on level 438. All my boosters have been used now so I rely on the daily free spin to give me one. That too is quickly used. I try to rationalize my addiction by only playing about an hour a day. Oh who am I kidding, I only play an hour a day because it uses up my kindle battery charge. My fear is that I will run out of levels and then what will I do, download Cookie Jam Blast?

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
