Greetings fellow NOPErs... today I was uming and ahhing about what to give a nod to... yet another day where Australia, America & the World gave me more than 10 special events to shout out... what to pick, should I go with White Chocolate day for my silly English friend who thinks its real chocolate... or should I go for World Fat Unicorn Day (rhino's for the uninitiated) for our Fluffy Scottish friend or should I go for Icecream Cone Day... because Icecream cones.... but no... Today, and every third Saturday of September is World Rabbit Day... so todays nope should out goes to out on behalf of our very own sexy bunny @jillar, and today we celebrate International Rabbit Day (except in QLD where they are illegal and Australia where we keep inventing diseases to kill them off).... SO have a Hoopy International Rabbit Day.... and listen to the bunny and make your pledge to :9 points

Hi roopy, thanks for checking in So glad to see you're still smoke free, that's an awesome quit you have going3 points

It's such an individual struggle. For me, I knew at 4 months that I could succeed, if I just would stay committed and strong. It was at about 8 months that life reverted back to "normal".3 points

I used the patches to quit and I followed the directions on stepping down, etc....what happened for me was I started to forget to put one on and after that happened a few times I stopped using them at all. I believe in total I was on them for around 10-11 weeks. I would not have been successful in this quit if I hadn't used them along with this place!! Coming here daily and pledging my NOPE was key, and still is! You are doing great Benson, keep on going!3 points

Congratulations @Roopy for being 7 month's smoke free. It was so great to see you back on the train and sharing the news that you are still smoke free despite personal and work issues, that is a great quit base you have going there. Super happy to have you back, even if it is just for a day. So for all the anniversaries we missed, here is a special make up one for the the 4th of September. Well done and KTQ2 points

Thank you so much everyone! I'm so excited that it's finally been a year. People like you are one of the main reasons I have reached this milestone, especially in the difficult early days of my quit. I don't think about vaping/smoking much anymore, which is a huge relief, since at first it was so hard. I'm so excited to be on the lido deck. Thank you so much everyone for all your support.2 points

It is great to see you get riled up. This has been ammunition in many of our quits. Check out this blog The Great Tobacco PlagueDr Frank Ashall's experience of the horrors of tobacco2 points

Getting drunk at a party and drinking from the beer butt can...then smoking a cigarette to get rid of the taste. The dumbest thing smokers do is smoke and continue to smoke even against our primal urge for survival...2 points
