g'day NOPE for me C

Granted, I was a reluctant egg many, many years ago until bakon said that the Eggs were just bad girls. Then, there was no choice but to surrender. I am an Egg. I am an Iconic Egg with appropriate footwear. I had so much fun and more to be had tomorrow.

When England wins a group game at the World Cup ... I say

This morning I just realized that yesterday I didn’t have one smoking thought. I had periods of boredom but I didn’t think about smoking I just did something else. I accomplished work stuff and didn’t think about having a smoke as a reward or to transition to the next task. I had stress at work and I didn’t think about having a smoke so I could deal with it better. Amazing! I’m really retraining my brain to act and think without dependence on nicotine after two months. The power of being human! Last week i had had lots of smoking thoughts. But they passed without me smoking. This week I’m not having any and I almost took it for granted. I’m celebrating the truth that it does get easier.

@reciprocity do you need to label all the frickin animals or just the cats so you don't go around calling them box shitters.

Both ours are rescue cats. The oldest (about 12 I think) was found abandoned by it's mother in the garden (mom probably got killed I suspect). Wasn't even weaned yet. We had to bottle feed 3 times a day for a couple of weeks. Vet said he wouldn't make it but he did. The other one, age uncertain but probably around 1 year old, we caught in a live trap this past winter just after New Years Day. We named her Holly because it was just past Christmas Not sure where she came from but hung around our place and the house next door because we put out food when it was not snowing. Temps were -30's to -40's at night during that time so we couldn't stand to watch her huddle in a corner while we were all warm inside. She still shows the after affect of frostbite on the tip of her nose but at least she's alive. Here's the older cat. He sleeps a lot these days as older cats will tend to do. Oh yeah, forgot the page I'm posting in fukcin cats!

Will I smoke today ???....Errrr....no chance !!!!

It's a shame bakon had to manipulate the photos and add 30 years and 30 pounds to me but, it made him feel young and beautiful , why just look at him ! and I'm all for that. Joe, the important thing in the pic with the Missus and friend and me was the Willie's Fried Chicken. Our bakon has a few sobriquets.

Strength work this morning: Clean and Jerks, Romanian Deadlifts, Bench Press, Bent-Over Rows, and Farmer's Walks. Finished up with 20 minutes of mobility work. I see what you did there. You managed to work it into a conversation. Nice!

Congratulations @Kermit on being smoke free for 5 months. I know you don't get in as much as you would like but well done on making it to the 5 month marks. You are going to sell with your quit. Hope you get a chance to pop in and give us your monthly update. Do something awesome to celebrate this milestone.
