  3. Granted, I was a reluctant egg many, many years ago until bakon said that the Eggs were just bad girls. Then, there was no choice but to surrender. I am an Egg. I am an Iconic Egg with appropriate footwear. I had so much fun and more to be had tomorrow.

  5. This morning I just realized that yesterday I didn’t have one smoking thought. I had periods of boredom but I didn’t think about smoking I just did something else. I accomplished work stuff and didn’t think about having a smoke as a reward or to transition to the next task. I had stress at work and I didn’t think about having a smoke so I could deal with it better. Amazing! I’m really retraining my brain to act and think without dependence on nicotine after two months. The power of being human! Last week i had had lots of smoking thoughts. But they passed without me smoking. This week I’m not having any and I almost took it for granted. I’m celebrating the truth that it does get easier.

  9. It's a shame bakon had to manipulate the photos and add 30 years and 30 pounds to me but, it made him feel young and beautiful , why just look at him ! and I'm all for that. Joe, the important thing in the pic with the Missus and friend and me was the Willie's Fried Chicken. Our bakon has a few sobriquets.

  12. Strength work this morning: Clean and Jerks, Romanian Deadlifts, Bench Press, Bent-Over Rows, and Farmer's Walks. Finished up with 20 minutes of mobility work. I see what you did there. You managed to work it into a conversation. Nice!

  13. Congratulations @Kermit on being smoke free for 5 months. I know you don't get in as much as you would like but well done on making it to the 5 month marks. You are going to sell with your quit. Hope you get a chance to pop in and give us your monthly update. Do something awesome to celebrate this milestone.

  14. starting 4th week on Keto. Still kickboxing, dancing and started back at yoga a couple times a week. Sore! But great!

  16. Ran 5 miles today after my usual strength workout...walked yesterday about 5 miles....had a weekend full of bad eating but did not do too much damage. What is everyone else doing? Lisa

  22. The kid frickin loved this... and the stoned cousins did too.... Mozart Magic Cube... played 6 different pieces of Mozart and had 6 different instrument sounds. Once the music was playing you could turn the 6 instruments on or off... so you could have just french horn or you could add in the other 5 instruments...

  23. bucketed all weekend so no walking of the beasts. Looking sunny today but expecting more rain tonight... might walk them during the day but I doubt it.. they are easier to walk at night because they behave better, Sarge doesn't want to sit there and bark at the cars driving past and Gunn doesn't want to jump every front fence he sees... which is basically every second house.
