  5. Good morning and welcome to another work week me lovely fellow NOPErs. Today our lovely American friends give us Hug Your Cat Day.. so I have a few issues with this, my digs tend to get rather upset if I hug the cats and not them especially Fat Boy, and a sooky 40kg puppy who wants to sit on your lap and cries if he can't is not much fun, then I have one cat who tends to bite when cuddled, hard and the other one turns into a furry shredding machine so I'll give them an extra pat but will hug the dogs instead. So if ya have a cat, that isn't psycho like mine give it a hug, but if you don't hug ya dog, or ya bunny or ya frog.... "Come on mate, give us a hug..." NOPE ... no, nay, never! Topic of the Day: TBA in the northy morning.

  6. Happy Sunday fellow Nopers. Hope your weekend is shaping up nicely. Today there are a few countries celebrating Cancer Survivors Day... because just like successful Old Phartes are the beacons of hope for the Newbies, Cancer survivors are the beacons of hope for those coming behind them. So because I'm never going to stop fighting... I say: NOPE ... cos nothing is better than NOPE. Topic of the day: to be advised in the northy tomorrow.

  17. You don't have to smoke if you don't want to. You won't smoke if you decide you don't smoke anymore. You have to make the decision, then silly temptations, like making a run before the store closes, have No Power, What a ridiculous proposition, go buy smokes ? Whatever for ? You're not a slave anymore. You don't smoke.

  19. what'd he do to you???... he breathed my air, he decided to share my space, he scarred me, he accelerated my heartbeat, he looked ugly, he harshed my mellow... the frucker dies I say... no way I'm stayin in a room with a frickin spider on the roof.... he shoulda known if he stayed hidden out of sight he was safe... so he behaved in reckless and irresponsible manor and as such needs to learn his actions have consequences.

  26. Christine, sad to hear. Don't give up on giving up. You need to be clear on the reasons you want to quit. Write them down, drum them into your mind, so there is no way you are ever going to forget. Then go again.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
