Congrats @Jane on day 23 somke free! Isn't it nice to be able to smell delicate fragrences again? Yet another benefit from quitting. I still get almost embarrassed when I think about how I smelled to others as a life long smoker and the whole time, I didn't see it myself. Keep up the good fight - you're making wonderful progress Your primary focus right now is your quit. You can deal with the weight gain later. I agree with Pilgrim though that getting a little more excersize than you normally do will help. Even going for long walks can help.

Congrats @Pilgrim! 1 month is awesome. Let's get month 2 done and remember what happened around that point on previous quits to thwart your efforts & what you plan to do differently this time around to succeed. We're all pulling for you

Thank you QuittingGirl! I've relapsed a few times around the 2 month mark... but I'm feeling resolved this time.

Hi Jane, Congratulations on day 23 of your Quit. I'm curious, if it wasn't a smoke, what was it you were craving? The boiled sweet? It warmed my heart to read you were appreciating the smells. Isn't it nice how our senses clear up after a few days of being free from that pungent smoke? If you don't like what the scale says you should probably get some exercise! Your fellow Ex-Smoker
