  2. Hi Jane, Congratulations on day 23 of your Quit. I'm curious, if it wasn't a smoke, what was it you were craving? The boiled sweet? It warmed my heart to read you were appreciating the smells. Isn't it nice how our senses clear up after a few days of being free from that pungent smoke? If you don't like what the scale says you should probably get some exercise! Your fellow Ex-Smoker
  3. You are doing great Jane! Keep doing what you are doing and you will succeed!!

Not been to bad, Had a few cravings, well I wouldnt say cravings as it wasnt really a smoke I wanted was all very strange so just stuck a boiled sweet in mouth and carried on. Have been sitting in the garden in our nice sunny weather and I really noticed all the differnt smells. Jumped on the scales and jumped off quickly again, didnt like what they said lol.

  24. Four weeks ago tonight I inhaled my last breaths of nicotine. 1 month quit and feeling good about it, overall. I get that itch about once a day, but I can quickly nullify it by remembering how it felt to be an addict... regularly needing to interrupt my life to get my nicotine fix... I remember all the unpleasant effects of the addiction and it provides me fortitude.

About us

QuitTrain®, a quit smoking support community, was created by former smokers who have a deep desire to help people quit smoking and to help keep those quits intact.  This place should be a safe haven to escape the daily grind and focus on protecting our quits.  We don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach when it comes to quitting smoking.  Each of us has our own unique set of circumstances which contributes to how we go about quitting and more importantly, how we keep our quits.
